After you buy, Selected Comfort is your first point of contact for warranty claims, replacement parts and service questions. Contact us with your order number and model, and our team will review the problem and guide you through the manufacturer's warranty or parts process. How do I get help with a problem after delivery?

Contact us first, with the details below. We review your request and guide you through the steps for your product's manufacturer.

  1. Contact us by phone or email.
  2. Send the details: order number, your name, the product name or model, a description of the problem, and photos or videos of the issue where you can.
  3. We review it and guide you through the applicable warranty process.
  4. The manufacturer decides the remedy under its warranty terms. Depending on the brand, that may be a repair, a replacement part or a replacement product.

What does Selected Comfort handle, and what does the manufacturer handle?

Selected Comfort The manufacturer

Collects your order details, photos and videos Decides whether a claim is covered
Guides you through the warranty process for your brand Chooses the remedy: repair, part or replacement

Selected Comfort does not change or extend a manufacturer's warranty unless we say so in writing. Full details are in our warranty policy.

How do I get replacement parts, batteries or chargers?

Contact us with the brand, model and a photo of the part you need, such as a battery, charger, tire or armrest, and we'll check what is available for your model. If the part fails within the warranty period, we'll check whether it is covered first.

What do manufacturer warranties usually not cover?

Unless the manufacturer's warranty says otherwise, warranties generally do not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic or accidental damage, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, unauthorized repairs or modifications, and commercial use of a product made for home use.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Inspect the delivery when it arrives. For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. Then contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the product, the box and packaging, and the shipping label. Our shipping policy explains the full process.

Where do I find the warranty for my product?

Check the product page and the documentation that came with your product, or ask us. Warranty terms differ by brand, including FreeRider, GIO Mobility, Shoprider, UltraComfort, Bestcare, Joerns and Golden Designs.
