What is a portable hyperbaric chamber?

A portable hyperbaric chamber is a soft, inflatable chamber that an air compressor pressurizes, usually to 1.3 to 1.5 ATA. It deflates and folds for storage or moving, which a rigid hard shell chamber cannot do. It runs with a compressor, and usually an oxygen concentrator, beside it.

What pressure do soft hyperbaric chambers reach?

The soft chambers in this collection work between 1.2 and 1.5 ATA. Most TECNOTU and Macy-Pan models run at 1.3 to 1.5 ATA, the OxyRevo Forward90 runs at 1.4 ATA as standard, and the OxyRevo Elite32 and Elite36 run at 1.2 to 1.4 ATA. If your doctor recommends a higher pressure, such as 2.0 ATA, look at hard shell chambers instead.

Are soft hyperbaric chambers FDA approved?

The FDA regulates all hyperbaric chambers as Class II prescription medical devices. A few portable mild chambers have FDA 510(k) clearance, and that clearance covers only mild symptoms of acute mountain sickness. The listings for the chambers in this collection do not state FDA clearance, and none is sold as a treatment for any condition. Talk to your doctor before using any chamber for a health reason.

Should I choose a lying, sitting or wheelchair soft chamber?

Choose a lying chamber if the user can get down to the floor and back up easily. Choose a sitting chamber if knees, hips or balance make that hard, and a wheelchair-entry chamber such as the Macy-Pan MC4000 or OxyRevo Heal40 if the user cannot transfer easily. Our team steers most seniors toward sitting or wheelchair models.

Can I move a portable hyperbaric chamber by myself?

The chamber itself folds, but the full setup is heavier than most people expect. Our Macy-Pan MC4000 listing adds up to about 150 lb for the chamber, compressor, oxygen concentrator and air cooler. Plan for two people to move it, and set it up in one room if you can.

How much does a portable hyperbaric chamber cost?

YKK zipper: Special three-layers zipper design ensures safety. If operation machines power down, the seal stripe between two layer zippers will go sink, which easy for users to unzip zippers to get out.

Dual Control System: The inclusion of control system both inside and outside the chamber provides easy and intuitive control over the therapy parameters. This dual-system setup allows for seamless adjustments, monitoring, and customization of treatment settings, ensuring precise and efficient therapy delivery.

Emergency Deflate Valve: Quick Pressure Release. The emergency deflate valves are designed to rapidly release pressure within 1 minute in urgent situations, allowing users to exit the chamber swiftly and safely.

A) Pressure Regulation: Automatic deflate valves maintain chamber pressure stability, automatically releasing excess air when the pressure reaches a predetermined level (e.g., 1.3ATA). This feature ensures consistent and safe pressure levels during treatment.

B) Carbon Dioxide Elimination: Simultaneous intake and exhaust functions help eliminate carbon dioxide efficiently, maintaining a healthier environment within the chamber.

Two-way Manual Deflate Valve :The manual deflate valve allows for controlled pressure reduction in abnormal conditions. Its dual control, both inside and outside the chamber, provides flexibility in managing pressure levels for user safety.
