Macy Pan vs OxyRevo: Home Hyperbaric Chamber Brands Compared (2026)

Last updated: October 14, 202610 min readBy Vineet Arora, Founder, Selected Comfort

Macy Pan vs OxyRevo: which home hyperbaric chamber brand is the better fit? Their spec sheets look alike at first glance, so it is easy to feel stuck. Both make soft and hard chambers, both reach 2.0 ATA, and their prices overlap. This guide puts the facts side by side so you can see where they really differ.

Quick answer
  • Macy Pan has the wider range: soft lying, soft sitting, wheelchair, hard lying and multi-person hard chambers. At Selected Comfort, Macy Pan chambers run from $9,000 to $59,900.
  • OxyRevo has a tighter, more uniform line: 4 soft lying, 1 soft sitting, 1 wheelchair, 2 hard lying and 1 hard sitting model. Our OxyRevo prices run from $7,499 to $45,999.
  • Soft chambers from both brands work at about 1.3 to 1.5 ATA. Hard chambers reach 1.5/1.6 ATA or 2.0 ATA.
  • Macy Pan's listings name CE, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and list the compressor, cooler and oxygen concentrator. OxyRevo's listings focus on build details (heat-welded seams, dual gauges, adjustable pressure) and do not name certifications.
  • Where to start: Macy Pan chambers for multi-person or wheelchair use. OxyRevo chambers for a lower-cost soft lying chamber or a sitting hard shell.

At Selected Comfort, we help families and clinics choose home hyperbaric chambers every week. We carry both brands in our hyperbaric chamber collection, so we have no reason to push one over the other. Every spec below comes from the brands' own listings and websites. Where a brand does not publish a detail, we say "Not published."

Talk to your doctor first

This is a buying guide, not medical advice. We compare hardware, not health results. The FDA treats hyperbaric chambers as medical devices and warns that serious injuries and fires, while rare, do happen. Ask your doctor whether hyperbaric sessions are right for you, and at what pressure.

Macy Pan and OxyRevo at a glance

Both are Chinese manufacturers. Macy Pan is based in Shanghai and says it has made chambers for 17 years. OxyRevo is based in Hangzhou.

The biggest difference is scope. Macy Pan sells almost every chamber shape, including hard chambers for up to five people. OxyRevo keeps a smaller line with shared design features: curved zippers, dual gauges and a one-press pressure selector.

Model range: who makes what

Macy Pan has more models and more chamber types. OxyRevo has fewer models that share one design.

Macy Pan models at Selected Comfort

  • Soft lying: ST801 (also offered in ST701 size) and ST901
  • Soft sitting: ST2200 / ST1700 and the upright L1
  • Soft sitting / wheelchair: MC4000 (U door for two seated users, N door for wheelchair entry)
  • Hard lying: HP1501 (1.5/1.6 ATA), HP2202 (2.0 ATA) and the Dia90 (2.0 ATA, dual view)
  • Hard multi-person: HE5000 Plus (1 to 5 people) and HE5000 FORT (1 to 2 people, upright)

OxyRevo models at Selected Comfort

  • Soft lying: Elite32 and Elite36 (1.4 ATA), Apex32 and Apex36 (1.5 ATA)
  • Soft sitting: Forward90 (1.4 or 1.5 ATA)
  • Soft wheelchair: Heal40
  • Hard lying: Quest30 and Quest36 (1.5 or 2.0 ATA)
  • Hard sitting: Space60 (1.5 or 2.0 ATA)

OxyRevo's website also shows a Space60 Pro, which we do not sell; the standard Space60 is the OxyRevo hard sitting chamber we carry. Macy Pan also makes veterinary chambers and HE5000 layouts we do not list. Call us if you need one.

Pressure options (ATA)

Both brands cover the same pressure bands: about 1.3 to 1.5 ATA for soft chambers and up to 2.0 ATA for hard chambers. The difference is in how you pick a setting.

ATA means "atmospheres absolute." 1.0 ATA is normal sea-level air pressure, so 2.0 ATA is double. Our guide on 1.5 ATA vs 2.0 ATA chambers explains this in more depth.

  • Macy Pan soft: ST801, ST1700 and L1 go up to 1.5 ATA. ST901, ST2200 and MC4000 top out at 1.4 ATA.
  • Macy Pan hard: HP1501 is 1.5/1.6 ATA. HP2202, Dia90 and HE5000 models reach 2.0 ATA.
  • OxyRevo soft: a pressure selector lets you set 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 ATA with one press (up to 1.5 ATA on the Apex and Forward90 1.5 models).
  • OxyRevo hard: Quest and Space60 come in 1.5/1.6 ATA or 2.0 ATA builds. The pressure switch valve lists 1.3, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 ATA settings.
Pro tip

OxyRevo sells the same hard chamber at two pressure ratings. The 2.0 ATA version uses thicker steel and costs $3,000 to $6,000 more. Only pay for 2.0 ATA if your doctor has a reason to suggest it.

Soft vs hard shell from each brand

Soft chambers from both brands are the lower-cost, portable choice. Hard chambers cost more and can reach 2.0 ATA. For the general trade-offs, see our full soft vs hard shell guide.

Soft shell. Macy Pan soft chambers are light. The ST801 and the L1 each weigh 15 kg, before the compressor and concentrator. Macy Pan lists an internal pressure gauge so you can read the pressure from inside. OxyRevo soft chambers use a curved zipper design, seams joined by heat welding instead of glue or stitching, and two pressure gauges, one inside and one outside.

Hard shell. Both brands build hard chambers from stainless steel with polycarbonate (clear plastic) windows or doors. OxyRevo's Quest and Space60, and Macy Pan's HP1501 and Dia90, list control panels inside and out, a power-failure system that releases pressure on its own, a door sensor and air cooling. Macy Pan's HP2202 weighs 150 to 200 kg and the HE5000 FORT 380 kg. OxyRevo hard chamber weights are not published in our listings.

Sitting vs lying designs

Both brands sell lying and sitting chambers. Macy Pan has more multi-person options; OxyRevo has the only single-user hard sitting chamber of the two.

  • Lying soft: Macy Pan ST801 is 240 x 82 cm (about 94 x 32 in). ST901 is 245 x 92 cm (about 96 x 36 in). OxyRevo Apex32 is 89 x 32 in and Apex36 is 89 x 36 in.
  • Sitting soft: Macy Pan L1 is 150 x 105 x 170 cm (60 x 42 x 68 in) and fits a regular chair. OxyRevo Forward90 comes with a folding recline chair. Its dimensions are not published in our listing.
  • Wheelchair: Macy Pan MC4000 N is 155 x 150 x 175 cm (61 x 59 x 69 in). OxyRevo Heal40 is 67 x 62 x 75 in, with an aluminum base and a slope for rolling in.
  • Lying hard: Macy Pan HP1501 and HP2202 are 87 in long, 30 to 40 in wide. OxyRevo Quest30 and Quest36 are 89 in long, 30 or 36 in wide.
  • Sitting hard: OxyRevo Space60 is 200 cm (79 in) long with a fold-and-recline chair. Macy Pan's upright hard options are the larger HE5000 FORT and HE5000 Plus.

Materials and stated certifications

Macy Pan names its materials and certifications in detail. OxyRevo describes its build methods but does not list certifications in our listings or on its home page.

Macy Pan lists "SGS certified" TPU for soft chambers, tested at a TÜV lab, and stainless steel plus polycarbonate for hard chambers. Every Macy Pan listing we carry names CE, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. The HP2202 listing says chambers carry a CE Declaration of Conformity.

OxyRevo describes heat-welded soft chamber seams, laser-printed valve labels, aviation-grade gauges, and hard chamber bodies welded from three stainless steel pieces. OxyRevo does not name its soft chamber fabric in our listings. Certifications: Not published in the materials we checked. One OxyRevo listing also says the product is meant for general wellness use and is not a medical device.

Watch out

CE and ISO marks are about European rules and factory quality systems. They are not the same as FDA clearance. In the US, the FDA lists cleared hyperbaric devices in its 510(k) database under product code CBF. If FDA status matters to you or your clinic, ask the seller for the 510(k) number in writing.

Accessories and warranty

Macy Pan lists its support machines in detail. OxyRevo's listings do not list a compressor or concentrator.

  • Macy Pan soft chambers list an oil-free air compressor (18 kg), an air cooler (4.5 kg), an oxygen concentrator (95% concentration, 5 to 10 L/min) and masks.
  • Macy Pan hard chambers list an all-in-one machine (HP1501 and Dia90 list 5 or 10 L/min oxygen flow). HP1501, HP2202 and Dia90 list an air conditioner. HP2202, HE5000 Plus and HE5000 FORT also list an oxygen concentrator.
  • OxyRevo hard chambers describe an electric air cooling system, an anion air purifier and a sterilizer.
  • OxyRevo soft chambers: what ships in the box is not published in our listings. The Forward90 and Space60 include a folding chair.

Warranty. Macy Pan's listing copy says "Lifetime warranty" but does not spell out the terms. OxyRevo's warranty terms are Not published on the pages we checked. For either brand, get the written warranty and US service contact before you buy.
